About Ian

Since 2007, I’ve had the honour of serving the residents of South Northants, initially as a district councillor with South Northants Council, and more recently with West Northamptonshire Council. During this time, I’ve proudly held the position of Leader of South Northants Council and led the Shadow Authority prior to the formation of West Northamptonshire Council.

As an Independent councillor, I’m not tied to any political party. This independence frees me to support good ideas from any source and to speak out against poor policies without the constraint of a party whip. It’s a privilege to serve without the usual partisan agendas, focusing solely on what benefits you and our community.

My commitment is to you, the residents, ensuring that your voice is heard and represented in every decision I make. I strive to be a councillor for the people, not the party. Let’s work together to bring about the changes we wish to see. Here in South Northamptonshire and in the Deanshanger and Paulerspury ward area.
