Autumn Newsletter

Newsletter out now: Local Plan, Furtho Pit and Deanshanger

My next newsletter is going out now. Planning dominates it, but planning is 90% of the casework I get involved with.

WNC is consulting on the next draft of the Local Plan. The deadline for responses is 11:59pm on 16 November. Furtho Pit is proposed for deletion, but it is not safe yet. Your replies this time help keep it out.

The leaflet also covers:

  • The Deanshanger planning applications: Catesby approved, Davidsons and Manor Oak refused. The Secretary of State decides on Davidsons by the end of October.
  • The Old Stratford to Deanshanger path, cleared back to its full width.
  • The Ability bus: WNC has reopened the Community Transport Grant (deadline 10am, 23 November).
  • School place applications are now open

To respond, to the planning consultation you must give your full name and address. Anonymous replies are rejected, and responses are published. Say you support removing the Furtho Pit allocation (Regulation 18 policy EC8) and the spatial strategy in Policy S1.
