The application to build 32 homes on The Meadows was refused by the West Northants Council Planning Committee on 7 December.
Thank you to all the Old Stratford residents who turned out in good numbers to put on record their opposition to this proposal.
I addressed the committee setting out issues with flooding, traffic, lack of capacity in the NHS and the relevant council polices that this needs to be assessed against.
I would say this is merely the half time score, the applicant always has the ability to appeal against a refusal. Any appeal must be lodged within 6 months of the decision date.
I will keep watching for any appeal and advise should it happen.
