Why is Stephen Mold still in office, he clearly has no judgement and is either serially arrogant or serially incompetent either way he should just go. The Police and Crime Panel is also not fit for purpose as they will not scrutinise a party colleague to the proper standard.
Today’s revelations that tell us about the next choice of Chief Fire Officer (CFO) once again shows the poor judgement of the Police Fire and Crime Commissioner.
His first choice of “close friend”, Ms Marzec he put down to an error of judgement.
His second candidate for Chief Fire Officer for is under investigation and cannot be appointed.
His appointed Chief Constable, whom he described as the “best man for the job”, is under criminal investigation.
Mold has no credibility or judgement necessary for this office. He is so shamelessly arrogant he thinks he can get away with anything neglecting the very basics of his job.
Mold must go now rather than wait for the inevitable judgement of the voters in May. Our blue light services deserve better and not this jester masquerading as a Commissioner.
He thinks he is running TV quiz shows, every senior appointment he ‘phones a friend’, Mr Mold – ‘you are the weakest link – goodbye’
